WEBOct 18, 2010 · Take a vote, and list why you'd choose either one. From what I can tell, the MAIN differences are. L76 = aluminum block, car intake + injectors (saves $$$). LY6 = iron block (stronger) but truck intake + injectors (gotta replace) I'm not exactly sure what intake they use on the L76 truck versions tho. Both use the infamous L92 heads.

WEBSep 11, 2005 · Anyway's, after putting the frame straight under the car, i started with the door's and worked forward to the fender's, front sheet metal, and then the hood. It took some "tweaking" of certain panel's, but unfortunatly, the more time you spend on them, the better they will line up. Oh man, I prolly spent over 100 hours fighting my front end.

WEBMar 14, 2019 · lol you got that right. it was more time consuming because of the aftermarket sheetmetal the outer wheelhouses and trunk drops were pretty good fit the full 1/4 could have been better i am glad i saved the original trunk channel used a original used driver door ,outer lower patches on pass 1/4 rest of pass. side is original the dr. fender was a eye opener when trying install aftermarket one ...
