IMO it has a little too much sheen for most walls, bedrooms, living room etc. I prefer the Pro Mar 200 low sheen at the same price although the Cashmere is much nicer to work with.

WEBJun 23, 2022 · Cashmere low luster is two levels glossier than the satin, not the most notable difference but it really depends on personal preference. The SW store should have a sheen chart in the store, or they’re in the back of the SW fan decks as well.

I would make sure you use a high quality woven or microfiber roller cover for the best finish. Emerald will have a nice finish, not as nice as Cashmere but still better than the rest of the product line. Solid 2nd place in terms of finish.

WEBAug 16, 2016 · Cashmere flat or matt use Wooster 50/50 1/2" nap. Eggshell or anything with a sheen Micro fiber 9/16. leaves a beautiful wall. PNW mentioned an 18", which is fine . If your not used to anything bigger than a 9" and try it, be careful not to leave rope lines. 9", 14" or 18" any of them will work. chrisn.

WEBFeb 3, 2020 · To the OP. All of the higher end national lines; Emerald, Duration Home, Superpaint, Cashmere, etc. all use the term satin, or low luster for Cashmere. Satin is very similar to an eggshell finish. The term eggshell is a standard finish in commercial specs, its 20 degree sheen at 85 angle.

WEBJan 21, 2021 · If you go into the store, they should have a nice display with it broken down for you with examples for everything. I am a fan of the Cashmere Low Lustre for the walls. "Ceiling Paint" for the ceilings (I have a hard time getting even coverage with ceiling paint, so I get the stuff that rolls on pink and dries white).
