Nice park, good views. No dogs allowed, what? Dumbest thing ever. Keep them leased, pick up after them, no problem. When we take a walk our dog walks with us, won't be back anytime soon . Full review by David S

From the back gates of the park, you are approximately 500 - 600 yards from over-looking the locks. There are no stairs to the fence over-looking the locks. Once the park opens on Mother's Day, there is parking within 30 yards to the fence over-looking the locks.

Eagle Point Park does not officially open until Mother's Day in May. However, you can still enter the park via the back entrance. You must walk through the gate, you will not be allowed to drive a vehicle. The Mines of Spain and Swiss Valley are both open year round and they offer several different hiking trails.
