Great views at the top! It’s an uphill climb through mostly sandy ground. We did this during the hottest time of day, and there’s no shade, so bring lots of water or do this early on the day. Still,… Full review by 425markk

There are some steps. Beautiful view of the city even if you don’t get out of vehicle.
Q:

No, the trail head starts in a neighborhood with narrow streets. I would not bring an RV to this trailhead.

Not aware of any hours. I like to hike it near sunset, watch the sunset and the city light up, then head down. Not dangerous if you bring a headlamp, the path is easy and its a popular area. I've done plenty of sketchier hikes during night time. By that I mean no one else on the trail, steep drop offs and a rough trail, none of which you'll encounter here.
Q:
How long is the hike to the top?
A:
It can be done in an hour if you are in decent physical shape.
