Fremont Street Experience provides free live music on several stages, as well as light shows on a giant canopy overhead. There's also a new addition, the SlotZilla zip line attraction. Fremont Street Experience is a full-on street party covering five blocks in historic downtown Las Vegas. The 12.5 million lights of the Viva Vision screen dazzle 90 feet above a pedestrian plaza lined with bars and casinos. There’s just a lot going on here. Bad cover bands, loud street performers, it’s really over stimulating and honestly exhausting. Great place to be if you’re out for a wild night I suppose Full review by Courtney M

You have to go to Freemont street and visit all the casino's from back in the day -- I would NOT recommend however to bring children - somethings little kids do not need to see -- but the whole exper… Full review by mary ann N

Fremont is lovely during the day but very congested in evening. Too many stages with competition from the bands. Love the affordable Vegas shopping & the hidden stores all over. I do miss the old day… Full review by 11kittiew
I will be headed there August 19-21 with a 17 year old. I have heard there’s a curfew from 9pm is this correct?And if there is and we can’t be on Freemont is it safe to walk down Carson Ave to get to Neonopolis from Golden Nugget at night

Long story short, yes there is a curfew downtown for under 18. 10 PM to 5 Am Sunday thru Thurs, and 12AM to 5AM FRI and Sat. In my opinion downtown is safe, but there are some sketchy people around that might make him feel uncomfortable. If you're with him, there is safety in numbers and the curfew doesn't apply because he is with a parent. Win-win
