This is a beautiful well maintained park with plenty of hiking trails and scenery!Everything an outdoorsman would love.Biking trails and lanes,plus fishing and canoeing and golf course. Full review by Jeff B

I drove here to hike to Peavine Falls. It’s a very cool hike. This park is loaded with- golf course, basketball, lakes, hiking, etc. Hiking trails seem to be well maintained. Lots of deer. If you… Full review by professorroyhinkley

Our second to this beautiful park. We we like to shower in the parks facility. The restrooms are very out dated and rusty and have only 2 stalls. The volunteers are wonderful and helpful and friendly… Full review by carolinabonny

Sorry, I don’t kow. We went to the beach once to look around and didn’t have to pay but to use the facility you might have to pay.

We are considering a November visit to Oak Mountain State Park to MTB and kayak and camp with our GO pop up trailer. . Does anyone know if there are any campsites that have lake water access? If so could you give us site numbers or directions of how to find these types of camp sites via a map? We would like to be able to put in our kayaks in from near our campsite. We have a kayak cart so we can wheel them for a short distance . Any other tips would be appreciated!

I would recommend you call their office. The online map is not very useful but their staff helped us immensely in choosing an appropriate site. We LOVE it there!
