Petrov is a municipality and village in Hodonín District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,300 inhabitants. Petrov is located about 11 kilometres east of Hodonín and 58 km southeast of Brno. It lies in a flat landscape of the Lower Morava Valley. The Radějovka Stream and the Baťa Canal flow through the municipality. The Kyjovka River flows west of the town and supplies several fishponds.
