We walked the Hoover Mason Trestle with our dog. What a cool experience. It is so large and impressive, and the signs are historical and informative along the walk. Highly recommend! Full review by Diane T

How do you get up on the trestle? I have difficulty climbing stairs. Thanks.

There are not many stairs because the elevation is not very high. The stairs have platforms to rest on. There is also an elevator to use. Many benches to sit along the walking path too.
We have a group of seniors who’d like to visit HMT but are concerned about the number of stairs and amount of walking. Can you give some perspective on this?

There is a elevator to the trestle but the walk is probably about a 1/2 mile and then you need to walk back to the elevator

If I remember correctly it's an open public place and I think you can just go there. The ticket was for the guided tour, which I thought was very worthwhile. I grew up in Bethlehem and my Dad was a mechanical engineer at the plant in the 50's and 60's. I learned a lot on the tour. highly recommended.
