I do like visiting when in Manchester, certainly a great free attraction. Some amazing artwork in the various halls. Coming from Wigan I was delighted to see a painting called lunch at a Wigan mill Full review by ian_dempster

A nice collection of mainly Victorian paintings and a relaxing refreshment area. Well worth a visit despite the building works taking place. Full review by Angela H

Yes. At least I didn’t see any notices saying otherwise and took lots!

Walk if the weather's nice - 15 minutes top. But the tram is a wet-weather option.

There is a pay car park run by NCP in Chinatown ,behind he Art Gallery.Check the web site for the parking rates.
