The Night at the Museum film franchise is getting another go at Studios under Disney to mine more historical hijinks. It’s been 20 years (a shocking number, yes) since the release of the first film starring Ben Stiller (Severance) as a museum night watch guard who goes on adventures when the exhibits come to life at night.

Disney is reportedly planning a reboot of the Indiana Jones franchise so they don't let the valuable IP sit on the shelf for too long.

The museum is open for business again. A “Night at the Museum” reimagining is in the works at 20th Century Studios, with 21 Laps Entertainment tapping Tripper Clancy to pen the script. Plot details remain under wraps,
