The U.S. Capitol Police (USCP) said that they arrested a person who attempted to set his car near the Capitol building during President-elect Trump's visit.
The disturbing incident unfolded in front of the Ulysses S. Grant Memorial just before 5:30 p.m. – at the same time Trump, 78, was arriving at the Capitol Building.
Thousands visited the U.S. Capitol to pay their respects to former President Jimmy Carter while he was lying in state, some who knew him personally and others who simply admired him.
