The Ducks blew a two-goal lead in the third period before recovering for a 3-2 victory over the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday in Anaheim.

The Ducks were coming off a surprising 5-3 victory over a Stanley Cup-favorite Edmonton Oilers team on Sunday. The Devils entered this game, their first of a back-to-back, having won six of their last eight games and are in second place in the Metropolitan Division.

It took 10:05 in the first period for Anaheim to register their first shot of the game and it would also be the game's first goal. The Devils were down 1-0 after Troy Terry benefited from a puck squeaking loose off a hard Ducks forecheck below the goal line. The puck landed on Ducks leading-scorer's stick, whose wrist shot beat Jacob Markstrom.
