WASHINGTON – The Trump administration is taking more swipes at Harvard University, even after the president hinted he was close to striking a deal with the school that could potentially restore its funding and resolve several lawsuits.

Harvard University ’s ability to receive federal student aid is at risk after the Trump Administration informed the higher education institution’s accreditor that the university acted in violation of federal antidiscrimination laws and may no longer meet accreditation standards.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem accused Harvard of allowing "foreign students to abuse their visa privileges and advocate for violence and terrorism on campus."
