The brand’s success has been fueled by neighborhood taste tests, word of mouth and a strong social-media presence. It captured Brooklyn’s Bagel Fest Best Bagel award two years in a row and being named New York’s City’s best bagel by multiple publications.

Another popular bagel shop is joining Charlotte’s food and drink scene. PopUp Bagels is making its way to the Southeast with plans to open 10 locations across North Carolina to get a taste of its “crispy crusts and soft crumb centers,” including one in the Queen City this spring.

Following the success of a popup stuffed bagel shop on Broadway, Moonrise Bagels have decided to make it a permanent business decision. "Just the Stuffed" will reopen Thursday with new menu items and new hours.
