A second wildfire in northeastern Minnesota exploded on Monday, and it's not far from the Camp House fire that has torched at least 750 acres and destroyed multiple cabins near the town of Brimson. The Jenkins Creek Fire, located approximately 14 miles southeast of Hoyt Lakes, started around 11 a.m., according to authorities.

Scores of residents of northeastern Minnesota have been forced to evacuate their homes as several large wildfires grow and spread. Hot, dry and windy conditions are helping fuel the blazes. Gov. Tim Walz is calling up the National Guard to help local,
