Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky raised the stakes ahead of a potential meeting with Vladimir Putin in Turkey by saying he wouldn’t hold talks with any Russian representative other than the president himself.

Putin hasn't yet said whether he will be at the talks, which Trump has urged Ukraine and Russia to attend as part of Washington's efforts to stop the fighting.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says he will travel to Turkey this week to seek a ceasefire deal with Russia. The Kremlin, meanwhile, says a Russian delegation will be in Istanbul for possible direct peace talks — though it’s not clear whether President Vladimir Putin will personally attend.
