It has been a tumultuous start to the season for Davis. He first injured his calf in late October, and he has since been working his way back to action. On Nov. 12, a report surfaced that Davis’ personal medical team was pushing for his return already. However, team owner Mark Dumont stepped in and prevented this from happening.

Last night, the Dallas Mavericks stunned the Denver Nuggets, grabbing their biggest win of the season. Anthony Davis and rookie Ryan Nembhard powered the 131-121 victory, combining for 60 points and setting the tone.
Davis will miss at least seven-to-10 more days while rehabbing from a calf injury, the team announced Sunday, according to NBA insider Marc Stein. Davis has been sidelined since leaving the first quarter of an Oct. 29 matchup with the Indiana Pacers with what the team described at the time as left lower leg soreness.
