Police were called to the 5600 block of East 69th Street around 6:30 p.m. where they found a man with a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to the hospital with critical injuries, but died several hours later, according to Sgt. Philip DiMartino, spokesperson with the Kansas City Police Department.

Police say five people were killed in multiple shootings in three homes in Wichita, Kansas. The victims were all men ranging in age from 39 to 68. KSNW’s Zena Taher reports.

Five people were fatally shot at three different homes Sunday in south Wichita, police officials said. The first shooting report came in at 5:44 p.m. when someone called 911 to report an incident at a home in the 1700 block of Santa Fe.

Police say the five people shot and killed in south Wichita on Sunday were all men, ranging in age from 39 to 68. The Wichita Police Department continues to believe that one of the men shot the other four and then shot himself.
