The NBA’s all-time leading scorer, who turned 40 on Monday, says he has a “very good” relationship with his eventual retirement and wants to end his career with the Lakers.

Over their last eight games, the Los Angeles Lakers have gone 6-2 and are making their climb up the Western Conference standings. More importantly, both LeBron James and Anthony Davis have been available to lead the charge for JJ Redick’s squad.

LeBron James was a late scratch Saturday due to illness. Anthony Davis did suit up for the Lakers' nightcap matchup against Sacramento.
