It’s game day eve in New Orleans. The No. 7 seed Notre Dame Fighting Irish (12-1) and the No. 2 seed Georgia Bulldogs (11-2) are one sleep away from the Sugar Bowl in the Superdome. Here’s who five members of the Blue & Gold staff are picking to win Wednesday night’s College Football Playoff quarterfinal matchup.

This will be Notre Dame football offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock’s third crack at coach Kirby Smart’s Georgia Bulldogs in the past five seasons.

Notre Dame also played five games against ranked opponents this season, and the offense averaged 209.2 yards and 6.2 yards per attempt in those games. Notre Dame has rushed for at least 200 yards in eight games this season and went for at least 190 yards in 10 of the team's 13 games this season.
