FBI investigators visited actor Ben Affleck’s neighborhood in California over the weekend in search of security camera footage of an unauthorized drone that collided with a firefighting aircraft, according to the New York Post’s Page Six.

A source said the FBI team visited Affleck’s home to see if the actor had CCTV footage of a private drone that damaged a “super scooper” firefighter aircraft.

Ben Affleck received a visit from the FBI at his home in Brentwood amid the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles. A spokesperson for the FBI issued a statement on Monday (January 13) to share they were examining Affleck’s Los Angeles neighborhood during an investigation related to the ongoing Palisades fires.
