Major League Baseball's 2025 Draft has officially wrapped. The draft kicked off Sunday night as the Washington Nationals took high school shortstop Eli Willits with the first of 615 picks that were made by Monday evening.

Six current Florida Gators heard their name called on Monday during Day 2 of the 2025 MLB draft, but the program also lost two future players in right-handed pitcher Aaron Watson and shortstop Jordan Yost.

The latest update for MLB 25 The Show is now available and brought substantial updates to the game's roster of athletes: Over 800 players -- around 600 from MLB and 200 from MiLB -- have received adjustments to their in-game attributes. This has resulted in the creation of several new Diamond as well as a small host of fresh Gold players.
