Squid Game creator Hwang Dong-hyuk has revealed that season 3 almost had a drastically different ending -- an ending that might have gone over better with fans still divided over how the hit series wrapped.

The third and final season of Squid Game recently dropped on Netflix, and boy, was it full of nail-biting tension from start to finish.

So, those of us who’ve actually made it to the end of Squid Game will know that the third and final season concludes with the sinister games being brought to an end in Korea, although our hero Gi-hun doesn’t make it out alive.
