Glenn Howerton, longtime co-star of hit series “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” recently revealed why he almost exited the show. In an “It’s Always Sunny” 20th anniversary celebration in New York City Tuesday, Howerton said that he “wanted to quit” as he feared the show had peaked ahead of its 12th season.

I had not figured out yet how to stretch myself and be able to do other things that I wanted to do with my career outside of the show,” Howerton explained
