West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee requests PM Modi to address flood crisis caused by DVC, threatens to sever ties.

Repeating her charge that the floods in West Bengal are man-made, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has written to PM Narendra Modi and blamed the release of water by the Damodar Valley Corporation from reservoirs in Jharkhand for the situation.

In the letter to PM Modi, Mamata Banerjee urged the Centre to immediately release central funds to mitigate the widespread devastation caused by the floods.
