A fire at a ski resort hotel in Turkey's Bolu mountains killed 76 people and injured 51 others on Tuesday, forcing panicked guests to jump out of windows in the middle of the night.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan says the number of suspects detained in connection with the deadly hotel fire at a ski resort has increased to 14.

Among the detainees are Bolu municipality's deputy mayor responsible for the fire department, the fire chief, and the owner and the manager of the hotel.

Wisma Putra says it is closely monitoring the aftermath of the incident through its embassy in Ankara and consulate general in Istanbul.
