Los Angeles Lakers head coach JJ Redick, who lives in Palisades, said Tuesday that his family had to evacuate their home due to the encroaching fire and smoke. Redick and the Lakers were not in Los Angeles, but in Texas tor a game against the Dallas Mavericks.
On top of that, the Lakers can swap first-round picks in 2026 and 2028 and trade or swap their selection in 2029, 2030, and 2031, which makes taking the bait a bit more palatable for the Warriors, who will inevitably have to rebuild at some point.
So as far as the Golden State Warriors are concerned, Dallas is vulnerable. And after watching LeBron James' guys here? The Lakers are vulnerable, too.
