The gun season, which traditionally begins the Monday after Thanksgiving, runs through Dec. 7. An additional gun hunting weekend is scheduled for Dec. 20–21.
“Plenty of activity,” said Ohio Department of Natural Resources Game Warden Supervisor for Northeastern Ohio Scott Denamen.
Ohio Division of Wildlife (DOW) is inviting hunters to consider shooting extra deer this season to donate to organizations.
