Caroline Mastantuono, the former head of the Lester B. Pearson School Board's international department, has been granted an absolute discharge after pleading guilty to corruption-related charges.

In a decision delivered at the Montreal courthouse on Tuesday, Quebec Court Judge Salvartore Mascia said Caroline Mastantuono, 61, of Laval, merited an absolute discharge as a sentence in her case.
