U.S. Centcom says blockade of Iranian ports begins Monday

President Trump said Sunday that the U.S. Navy will implement a blockade in the Strait of Hormuz following a breakdown in talks between U.S. and Iranian officials to end the war in Iran.

The putative two-week ceasefire may not now even last that long, with dreadful consequences for the civilians in the region and for the world economy.
