Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, Pokémon Legends: Z-A, and a new Mario Kart. This is just a taste of what Nintendo is cooking and there are so many other Nintendo games that we could see in the Switch 2’s first year.

Xbox boss Phil Spencer has confirmed that Xbox games will be available on Nintendo Switch 2 after it launches.

Nintendo updates the selection of games available through its Switch Online subscription service to include three more SNES titles.

Beyond the confirmed Switch 2 games above, it’s possible that Nintendo will release its slate of upcoming Nintendo Switch games — such as Pokémon Legends: Z-A, Metroid Prime 4, and an unnamed, mysterious Switch Online multiplayer game — as cross-generation titles for both systems.

The Nintendo Switch 2 will reportedly be backwards compatible with most Nintendo Switch 1 games, save for a certain few games players can expect.
