Ukrainian President Zelensky said he would meet Putin if the Russian president agreed - but Russia says he won't be there.

Ukraine and Russia are close to reviving direct peace talks for the first time since the last face-to-face discussions ended three years ago.

The talks took place in the warring capitals of Moscow and Kyiv, from Washington and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to countries across Europe.
