Though it has yet to result in any new voters being added to the rolls, SBA is seeking to expand an initiative that has drawn the ire of congressional Republicans, who fear the effort is aimed at boosting Democratic votes.

A voter registration drive organized by the Ohio Unity Coalition is being held at the Fredrick Douglas Center Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The League of Women Voters for the North Country celebrated the anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution this week by encouraging students to register to vote. Volunteers held Voter Registration drives at both SUNY Plattsburgh and Clinton Community College.
