Former Biden aide Annie Tomasini invoked her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination during a deposition on Friday as part of the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into the Biden administration’s use of the autopen.

As the GOP probe into Biden’s mental acuity and use of an autopen expands, a growing number of his top aides are being swept up in a thorny legal predicament.

A nnie Tomasini on Friday became the third Biden administration official to plead the Fifth Amendment in a House panel's investigation into former President Joe Biden's mental fitness and use of a presidential autopen while in office. Tomasini was called on to appear before the Republican-led House Oversight Committee for a closed-door interview.
