A cold and miserable start to Friday in SWLA is quickly clearing up, but sunshine will take a little longer to move in.

A High Surf Warning remains in effect for most north and west facing shores through 6 p.m. Thursday. Surf may hold at advisory levels for these same areas Thursday night into Friday, before dropping below the advisory threshold. Another near advisory level NW swell is due over the weekend, with more bigger swells expected next week.
