There is a large police presence along southbound Interstate 35 in Red Oak after a police chase that ended with a crash and an officer-involved shooting.

Dallas police said they were “aware” of a shooting involving an officer near I-35 in the Red Oak area in Ellis County.

Shots were fired during the pursuit of a capital murder suspect that led to a deadly crash in Red Oak, authorities said.
