NEW YORK — Anthony Volpe has been hurting the Yankees with his play between the lines over these last several weeks while slumping at the plate. On Saturday, he accidentally hurt one of his teammates between innings.

In the second game of this Subway Series, Yankees shortstop Anthony Volpe accidentally hit Aaron Judge in the head with a baseball. While it's normal for Judge to get thrown the ball as they head off the field, this time Judge wasn't looking and was hit in the face.

Yankees captain Aaron Judge was struck near his right eye by a tossed baseball between innings Saturday against the Mets.
