Victor Wembanyama had 23 points and eight rebounds, Harrison Barnes scored 10 of his 17 points in the fourth quarter, and the San Antonio Spurs beat the Lakers 126-102 on Monday night in Los Angeles' first game back from two postponements due to the wildfires devastating the area.

The game will honor the strength and spirit of Los Angeles as relief and recovery efforts begin for those impacted by the recent wildfires.

On top of the mismatch on both ends, too, the Spurs have tumbled down the ranks in rebounding rate as the Lakers have climbed out of the gutter — so if San Antonio continues to struggle for offense it likely won’t be afforded many second chances.
