A teenager accused of stabbing his mother to death in Polk County - one year after killing his father in Oklahoma - was indicted on charges of first degree murder and kidnapping on Thursday.

Back in June, Wayt, 39, was reported missing out in a small town in North Carolina, before being located three days later. In an episode of T een Mom: The Next Chapter, which aired Thursday, September 12, Portwood, 34, revealed how Wayt's disappearance affected her.

A seventeen-year-old boy charged with stabbing his mother to death in Polk County is now being tried as an adult. More than year earlier — he was also accused of killing his father in Oklahoma.

The 17-year-old told a dispatcher his mother fell on the knife when she lunged at him. The medical examiner said it couldn't have happened that way.
