The state softball tournament in Oxford has met its midway point heading into action on Wednesday. Class 1A and 4A will begin play to decide who takes home a title on Thursday, while 3A and 7A will crown champions and finish their seasons. Check back frequently for updates. The final week of the AHSAA softball season is getting started on Monday in Oxford, and we have several teams from North Alabama represented on the diamond.
