“Last week’s launch of Black Ops 6 was the biggest Call of Duty release ever, setting a record for day one players, as well as Game Pass subscriber adds on launch day,” Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said during the call (as reported by Variety ). “Unit sales on PlayStation and Steam were also up over 60% year-over-year.”

Black Ops 6 is, understandably, a pretty big deal. The franchise has been in a bit of a lull lately, despite routinely setting new sales records, and this game especially needed to be a slam dunk given its unique position.

Black Ops 6 Season 1 is just around the corner and with new maps, modes, and features on the way, there’s plenty to be excited about.

The next load of content for Black Ops 6 and Warzone is on the horizon, with Activision confirming the exact release date and time for Season 1.

Black Ops 6 features a variety of playable characters called Operators. These allow you to play with a bit of personalization while still using your prized AK-74 assault rifle (or any other weapon you fancy).
