The explosion outside the Trump International Hotel Las Vegas on New Year's Day is being investigated as a possible act of terrorism, sources said.

Investigators know that a highly decorated Army soldier shot himself in the head inside a Tesla Cybertruck packed with fireworks just before it exploded outside Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas on New Year’s Day, but authorities say there are questions about why he chose that car and location.

One person was killed and seven were injured after a Tesla Cybertruck explosion Wednesday morning at the entrance to Trump International Hotel, just off the Las Vegas Strip.
