The Mega Millions jackpot has risen to $44 million for Tuesday's drawing after no one won the top prize on Friday night. If someone should match all six numbers in the Tuesday night drawing, they could choose a one-time cash payment of $19.

The Mega Millions lottery jackpot was an estimated $28 million with a cash option of $12.4 million for Friday night's drawing, according to the Mega Millions website. The jackpot was last won on Jan. 17 when a lottery player in Arizona lottery player won a $112 million jackpot.

The Mega Millions jackpot was one twice in less than a month and now sits at $44 million for the drawing on Tuesday, Jan. 28.
