Not content with the current scale of harassment being unleashed on immigrants in the United States, President Donald Trump has ordered the Department of Homeland Security to increase the number of officers focused on deportation by a whopping 20,000.

The order, which would use state and local officers, among others, would represent an enormous expansion of immigration enforcement. But it is unclear how it would be paid for.
