A boil water notice was issued for some Sonoma residents Thursday morning after Valley of the Moon Water District crews were called to repair a catastrophic water main break on Orange Avenue.

KALAMAZOO COUNTY, MI – A boil-water advisory is in effect for parts of Comstock Township after a temporary loss of water pressure. The advisory, issued Thursday, Jan. 23, is precautionary for Kalamazoo water customers within the affected area of East H Avenue, 28th Street and Hunters Run. The advisory affects only drinking water.

As Louisiana thaws out, water main breaks and boil water advisories remained in effect throughout the New Orleans region, prompting officials to urge residents to conserve as much as possible.
