Three Just Stop Oil activists have denied throwing soup on two Van Gogh paintings in a revenge attack hours after other activists were jailed.The paintings, both versions of the artist’s Sunflowers, were targeted at the National Gallery on Friday shortly after two Just Stop Oil activists were jailed for pouring soup over another painting in the series by the Dutch artist in October 2022.

The trio are accused of pouring soup on two versions of the famous artwork, which were on display at the London gallery. It came after two other activists were jailed for targeting one of the artist's paintings in 2022.
