Nicole Kidman pays homage to her 'Babygirl' character Romy by drinking from a glass of milk while accepting an award at the National Board of Review Gala in New York on Tuesday.

While Kidman’s character Romy didn’t wear a pup hood or bark in Babygirl, the dog imagery intermixed with the Dom (me)/sub dynamics throughout the film felt at the very least like a nod to puppy play. (She eats that treat out of Samuel’s hand as he literally pets her!)
