Harrisburg’s forecast lists a 100% chance of light snow after 1 a.m. Saturday, but less than 1 inch of total accumulation. Saturday’s model predicts less than half an inch of snow accumulation in Harrisburg before 7 a.m. Saturday followed by sunny skies and a high temperature near 34 degrees.

Update at 1:45 p.m.: The speed limit restriction on the highways has been lifted except for I-83 between Route 30 and the state line, according to PennDOT. Snow is falling in southcentral Pennsylvania this morning as a winter storm is expected to deliver anywhere from a couple of inches up to nearly 6 inches near the state line.

CBS 21 Meteorologist Steve Knight says most of the area will see 2-3 inches of snow, with up to six inches possible in some areas.
