Mar 29, 2012 · I lined up the webbing directly over a mate on the pack, and on each of the 4 corners of the pouch, did a full wrap secured with a reef knot. It seems to be pretty secure, at least well enough for a temporary solution. It helps that both pouches are rather shallow, one being an admin pouch, and the other a shallow pocket.

Jun 12, 2012 · M4 pouches are good for keeping energy bars in reach for a quick snack on the trail. Canteen pouches are great for radios. The six-mag bandolier-type M4 pouches have an interesting use; put some waste foam in each mag slot, and viola!

Feb 17, 2014 · The sticky coating is the original Polyurethane waterproofing coating that is outgassing and failing. It doesn't seem to matter how new, sealed, or used the material is, that coating will get sticky in the sustainment pouches, and sometimes in the main ruck bags. I've obvserved the same oddity with MOLLE gear pouches myself.

May 19, 2014 · The Molle II 1 Quart canteen/General Purpose pouches are great! I have at least 1 on each of my Molle compatible packs and belt systems. They fit a canteen and cup fine and the extra pockets fit small tins, match safes and the like. The Canteen pouch also fits 1 quart "Aid" bottles too. The Canteen/GP pouch fits nicely on my Molle II waist belts.

You buy the base vest and add the pouches you want to make a fly fishing vest customized for your fishing needs. The vest does not impress me but the fishing specific pouches did catch my eye.
