I've been eyeing some MJT bodies on ebay - I have been tracking completed auctions, and know what the final cost should be about $300 shipped. My original plan was to swap the body on my '92 Fender '62RI MIJ Stratocaster - to save on costs.

Sep 20, 2020 · Actually on the Fender Website page for the Acoustasonic, they state: Fender® Dura-Tone® 860CL Coated Phosphor Bronze (.011-.052 Gauges), PN 0730860405 I just hated the Fender branded strings as they felt dead and like cheese graters. I went with the same gauge but with Elixir 11/52. Note $ Canadian.

Fender Stratocaster MIJ E-Series 1984-1987
May 15, 2018. #2. Standard said to be fairly good not JVs or SQs but next best MIJs. Prices have been rising very steadily on both Squier and Fender models over the last couple of years. Squiers have made as much as £400 although the Fender branded ones not much more.
